COVID-19 Plasma Donation

Thank you to our generous donors who were committed to improving the lives of others suffering through COVID

Versiti is no longer accepting new COVID convalescent plasma (CCP) donors due to the rapid expansion of improved pharmaceautical therapies for treating COVID-19.

The limited FDA authorization for performing these tests on blood donors was intended for use in identifying CCP donors.  This means Versiti is additionally required to discontinue screening and will no longer be performing antibody tests on blood donations starting March 26, 2021.

If you are currently scheduled to donate plasma through our program, an area coordinator will be in contact with you directly if there are changes to your existing appointment.

For questions:

We are enormously grateful to all of those who stepped up to help others in our communities through the last year.

Your selfless acts prove we are stronger together.
