Test Information

The flow cytometric lymphocyte crossmatch is a technique for evaluating the compatibility of potential kidney transplant recipients and donors and analyzed for the presence of bound IgG antibodies.

Sample Requirements

Clot Tube (red top) and ACD Solution B preferred on recipient. If ACD solution B not available, Sodium Heparin Whole Blood is acceptable on recipient.

Additional Sample Requirements

Sodium Heparin Whole Blood is acceptable if received within 24 hours on recipient.
