Recipient serum is incubated with donor lymphocytes which are analysed in a flow cytometer for the presence of bound IgG antibodies to find donor-specific antibodies to avoid deleterious graft function.
Clot Tube (red top) on recipient and ACDB (yellow top) on donor is preferred. If ACDB is not available, Sodium Heparin whole blood is acceptable.
Additional Sample Requirements
Sodium Heparin whole blood is acceptable if received on donor within 24 hours of draw.
