In January 2010, Andrew was seriously injured at a friend’s house. He was rushed to the emergency room and as a result of the injuries, he received nine units of blood and five units of plasma.

Today, Andrew is co-founder of his acting company, Youngblood Theatre Company, and is extremely grateful for the blood donors who helped save his life. He also helps to organize community blood drives.
