Jen & Dustin Aldrich

Treatment, Wisconsin

Jennifer and Dustin Aldrich know firsthand the importance of blood donation and why giving is so important. Their son, Jake was 4 years-old when he was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a type of cancer that affects the body’s soft tissues.

Jake received numerous whole blood and platelet transfusions over his 31/2 years of treatment. He did lose his battle in March 2009 at the age of 7, but Jennifer and Dustin will continue to give for the memory of their son’s smile.
