BloodCenter of Wisconsin launches new educational webinar series

Milwaukee – March 7, 2018

Milwaukee – March 7, 2018 – BloodCenter of Wisconsin, part of Versiti, Inc., has announced a series of quarterly continuing education webinars called BloodFLOW – Further Learning On the Web. Webinar topics include: transfusion medicine, transplantation, hematology and genetics.  

The first webinar in the series – NGS technology for HLA typing – will take place on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 – 1:00p.m. CST. To register, visit BloodFLOW webinars.

Jennifer Schiller, Ph.D., D (ABHI) will discuss Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology and 
how it may improve donor selection for hematopoietic cell transplant recipients. Her discussion will lead into the analysis of NGS and how it can assist with virtual cross matching.
