Milwaukee – Feb. 5, 2018 – Versiti, Inc., a national leader in blood health innovation, today announced the launch of its redesigned website, Versiti.org. Versiti is focused on expanding the frontiers of patient health through the integration of science, medicine, and service. Versiti’s legacy organizations, BloodCenter of Wisconsin, Heartland Blood Centers, Indiana Blood Center and Michigan Blood, are now brought together into a single website.
The new website offers streamlined access to information for our blood donors, as well as our hospital partners. It also provides rich content, colorful imagery and compelling stories which better showcase the depth and breadth of Versiti’s expertise. With new features and added functionality, the new site provides dedicated support to its health care partners nationwide.
Versiti.org relays the innovative work the organization performs every day through its five areas of expertise:
- Transfusion Medicine/Blood Services
- Stem Cells and Cellular Therapies
- Hematology/Blood Diseases
- Oncology and Genomic Medicine
“The new Versiti.org brings our four local communities together in one place and represents an important milestone in our organizational growth,” says Versiti President and CEO Chris Miskel. “The website better positions us to support our health care partners nationwide and advance our mission of enhancing lives through discovery, diagnosis, and treatment.”
To ensure a smooth transition for its blood donors and hospital partners, Versiti will wait to retire the BloodCenter of Wisconsin, Heartland Blood Centers, Indiana Blood Center and Michigan Blood websites until on or after March 5.
Versiti was formed with the mission to improve the health of patients and enable the success of our health care partners nationally. We provide innovative, value added solutions in the fields of transfusion medicine, transplantation, and blood-related diseases to meet the needs of each of our customers.
