  • Research Interests

The molecular oncology lab in Blood Center of Wisconsin provides fast, accurate cutting edge diagnostic tests for cancer patient management. My research/professional interest is on the development and implementation of new technologies and novel assays that promise to improve our ability to diagnose blood cancer in a rapid and efficient manner. I am particularly interested in assessing the utility of these technologies to discover how they can best be used to improve patient care and impact physician decision making. One of the areas my lab is investigating is on the development, implementation, and evaluation of next generation sequencing (NGS) technologies to molecular oncology diagnostics leading to personalized medicine in cancer with a focus on acute myeloid leukemia (AML), myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and actue lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
