Can Versiti employees participate in the platelet program?

YES! Versiti employees are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the platelet program.
Do my donations roll over?

The Beacon Club Platelets is focused on acknowledging donations in a single calendar year. Donations do not roll over from year to year, so you have the opportunity to earn new items annually!
How can I learn more about platelets and platelet donation?

Click to find quick facts about platelets, patients who have received lifesaving platelets, and platelet research being conducted by Versiti scientists.
How do I redeem my awards?

Versiti will track donations, and gifts will be sent or presented to donors as they reach milestones. Use your Platelet Tracker Card or the Versiti Donor app to keep track of your progress.
How do I request a milestone gift that was missed?

If you are missing a milestone gift, please email jmcquillan@versiti.org for a replacement.
How do I sign up for The Beacon Club Platelets?

It’s as simple as beginning to donate! We will automatically keep track of all platelet donations.
Once I achieve a milestone, when can I expect to receive my award?

Gifts will be fulfilled as quickly as possible. Some gifts will be available at the donor center on the day of donation and others will be mailed. After your 8^th donation, donors will receive an email to order their raglan style shirt. Deliveries are expected within 4 weeks. After their 18^th donation, donors will receive an email to order their packable puffy vest. Vests will be sent in early 2022.

The Beacon Club honors the amazing, lifetime achievements of all Versiti blood donors. The Beacon Club Platelets is specific to platelet donors and celebrates donation milestones on an annual basis.
