Scientific Programs

Scientific research and training are important parts of Versiti’s mission. Our research programs involve basic and clinical scientists at Versiti Blood Research Institute (VBRI), facilitating opportunities to identify and engage in collaborative translational research.

Versiti Diagnostic Laboratories and the blood services team provide opportunities for collaboration in the development and use of diagnostic tests and access to blood samples and related databases. Versiti scientists lead and participate in national and international clinical studies and have made important contributions to the understanding of basic biological mechanisms that impact blood-related treatments and disorders.
