Tirthadipa Pradhan-Sundd Laboratory at Versiti Blood Research Institute
The Pradhan-Sundd Laboratory’s goal is to gain a better understanding of the involvement of hepato-vascular cells (liver sinusoidal endothelial cells, tissue resident macrophages and monocytes) in hematologic liver diseases. Our disease models include a humanized mouse model of sickle cell disease-induced acute and chronic liver injury, iron overload in the liver, murine models of hemolysis, vasculopathy, stressed erythrophagocytosis, and a mouse model of hemophilia.
