Zach Fechter

Just weeks after being born, Zach Fechter was diagnosed with severe Hemophilia A, an incurable blood clotting disorder.

Following the diagnosis, Zach began receiving treatment through our Comprehensive Center for Bleeding Disorders (CCBD). The CCBD provides medical and supportive care, along with training and education for patients and their families.

As he grew up, the CCBD taught Zach how to self-infuse factor product, which helps promote blood clotting. He has also spent time at Camp Klotty Pine, a summer camp for children living with bleeding disorders. These experiences have helped Zach develop confidence and independence as lives a happy and healthy life.

“With the help of the CCBD and the education we’ve received, Zach’s future is very bright,” says his mom, Tracie.
