Clot Tube (red top) and ACD is preferred on recipient. If ACD is not available, Sodium Heparin Whole Blood is acceptable on recipient.
Requested Volume
One 10 ml Clot Tube (red top) and 40 ml ACDB (yellow top) on recipient
Minimum / Pediatric Volume
One 5 ml Clot Tube (red top) and 20 ml ACDB (yellow top) on recipient
Additional Sample Information
Sodium Heparin Whole Blood is acceptable if received within 24 hours on recipient.
