Crossmatch (Flow Cytometry) Against Recipient
Test Information
Recipient serum is incubated with donor lymphocytes which are analyzed in a flow cytometer for the presence of bound IgG antibodies to find donor-specific antibodies to avoid deleterious graft function. USA test status: This is a laboratory developed test (LDT).

Sample Notes
Clot Tube (red top) on recipient and ACDB (yellow top) on donor is preferred. If ACDB is not available, Sodium Heparin whole blood is acceptable.
Requested Volume
One 10 ml Clot Tube (red top) on recipient and 40 ml ACDB (yellow top) on donor
Minimum / Pediatric Volume
One 5 ml Clot Tube (red top) on recipient and 20 ml ACDB (yellow top) on donor
Additional Sample Information
Sodium Heparin whole blood is acceptable if received on donor within 24 hours of draw.
