Clot Tube (red top) on recipient and ACDB (yellow top) on donor is preferred. If ACDB is not available, Sodium Heparin whole blood is acceptable.
Requested Volume
One 10 ml Clot Tube (red top) on recipient and 60 ml ACDB (yellow top) on donor.
Minimum / Pediatric Volume
One 5 ml Clot Tube (red top) on recipient and 30 ml ACDB (yellow top) on donor.
Additional Sample Information
Sodium Heparin whole blood is acceptable if received on donor within 24 hours of draw.
