Bailey and Lilly Dove

Lily and Bailey Dove

Recipient, Treatment

Lily and Bailey Dove share a special bond: they are identical twins. They are also connected by the disease they are battling.

Lily and Bailey both have leukemia. Lily completed two years of treatment in August 2015, while Bailey completed her treatment in 2017. Both girls have received numerous blood and platelet transfusions as Versiti investigators research new treatments for leukemia and other cancers.

“Not only does Versiti help girls like mine with cancer, there’s a wider range of people that they’re helping,” says their mom, Erin. “Blood donors help girls like mine beat cancer. I just want my daughters to enjoy a long and healthy life.”
