Abstract Honors
Versiti is proud to have five distinguished scientists who have been honored by the ASH with Abstract Achievement Awards for their outstanding research. Among them, Ayyanar Sivanantham will present in Florida on emerging therapeutic targets in sickle cell disease. Additional honorees include Mohamed Khalil, PhD; Dona Hasini Vathsaly Gammune, PhD; Josiah Murray; and Khanmi Kasomva, PhD, each of whom will showcase their research through poster presentations.
Versiti Blood Research Institute and Medical College of Wisconsin will also be cohosting an evening reception on Saturday, December 6, at the Rosen Centre Hotel. Free registration required. This gathering will provide colleagues and peers with an opportunity to connect and reflect on the innovative work presented throughout the meeting.
From discovery to care, this meeting will highlight how innovative research is translated into real-world treatments that advance patient outcomes.
The full schedule of Versiti presentations and events is available below.
