Join the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Workplace Partnership for Life and show your support for organ and tissue donation.

HRSA’s Workplace Partnership for Life program encourages businesses and hospitals to take part in activities that raise awareness of organ and tissue donation and encourage others to join the organ donor registry. Since the program began, more than 13,000 organizations have joined the program and helped register more than 1 million new organ donors.

By becoming a Workplace Partner, you make a commitment to educate communities about the life-saving gifts of organ, tissue and eye donation. You can also earn recognition from the federal government for your outreach efforts.

To learn more about how your organization can earn federal recognition from HRSA, contact Megan Sigrist by phone, email, or by using the form below.

Program Details

How does it work?

Participants will receive an Activity Scorecard from HRSA that includes a list of suggested activities in which your organization can take part. Each activity completed and each new donor registration recorded by your organization throughout the duration of the campaign earn you points. At the end of the campaign period, points are tallied and organizations that reach specific benchmarks are awarded federal recognition from HRSA at the bronze, silver, gold or platinum levels.

How much commitment does it require?

Your organization’s involvement is entirely up to you. Some groups choose to complete every item on the scorecard, while others create alternate opportunities to raise awareness. Versiti Organ and Tissue is happy to provide a variety of materials to help your organization succeed.

What are some examples of activities?

  • Hold donor registry enrollment tables at your office
  • Participate in an enrollment competition among your organization’s teams
  • Hold a flag-raising ceremony
  • Invite an organ transplant recipient to speak to your employees
  • Promote the program on your business’ intranet
