    • Educational Institutions

    Colleges and universities help support our lifesaving mission not just by getting the word out about the importance of blood donation, but by encouraging the next generation of blood donors to give back to their communities.

     

    Butler University

    Versiti has teamed up with Butler University to save lives in Indiana. Our co-branded blood donation bus, which travels across campus and throughout Indiana, makes it easy for donors to hop on, give blood and save up to three lives. Additionally, Versiti and Butler are committed to providing career opportunities and fostering diversity and inclusion efforts across the student body.

    Entertainment

    Versiti’s entertainment partners support our mission by offering free or discounted admission to fairs, festivals and more. Many of these entertainment partners also host blood drives to encourage members of the community to give back to patients in need.

     

    Summerfest

    Summerfest is the world’s largest music festival, held each year on Milwaukee’s lakefront. Versiti is proud to team up with Summerfest to spread the word about the importance of blood donation. In 2021, Summerfest sponsored free tickets for Milwaukee-area blood donors.

    Wisconsin State Fair

    The Wisconsin State Fair, a longtime Versiti partner, has hosted regular blood drives at the fairgrounds and sponsored free fair tickets for blood donors.

     

    China Lights

    The China Lights exhibit illuminates the night with bright, colorful displays that celebrate China’s rich history. As a Versiti partner, they have rewarded blood donors with free admission and BOGO coupons.

    Nonprofits

    Versiti teams up with other nonprofit organizations to mutually further our missions. Through these partnerships, we help raise awareness of the need for blood donation and organ and tissue donation, as well as foster leadership opportunities for young people in our communities.

     

    Indiana Donor Network

    Versiti’s mission is about more than blood; we also help save lives through the gifts of organ and tissue donation. We partner with the Indiana Donor Network to raise awareness of the need for a diverse organ and tissue donor registry.

    Girl Scouts of the USA

    You’ve heard about Throwback Thursday, but at Versiti, we’re all about Thin Mint Thursday. We work with individual Girl Scouts of the USA councils, including:

    Thanks to these councils, we’re able to hand out free boxes of Thin Mints to donors in March, which is Women’s History Month. We’re proud to acknowledge the future women leaders that the Girl Scouts represents.

     
     
     
     
     

    Restaurants

    Local restaurants and national chains partner with Versiti to not only show they care about their communities, but to help bring new customers into their stores. Many restaurant partners offer special coupons and discounts to blood donors, helping to boost business and increase their customer base.

     

    Noodles & Company

    Noodles & Company is all about filling bellies and warming hearts. Since 2016, Noodles has supported Versiti’s mission by donating more than $1.3 million in discounts and coupons to encourage blood donors to give the gift of life to others.

    Papa Murphy's

    We were excited to welcome Papa Murphy’s as a new partner in 2021 to help boost blood collections during the summer months, a time when donations decrease due to high school and college breaks and family vacations.

     

    Sports Teams

    Sports teams across Versiti’s footprint partner with us to host blood drives, connect with local fans and save the lives of patients in their communities. Some teams offer special incentives to donors, including exclusive blood drives at NFL stadiums and tickets to games.

     

    Indianapolis Colts

    Versiti has partnered with the Indianapolis Colts for more than 20 years and is proud to be the Exclusive Community Blood Program of the Colts.

    Each year, the Colts host the Bleed Blue Blood drive, which is Versiti’s largest, single-day blood drive, and has saved more than 300,000 lives.

    In addition, the Colts support our mission by hosting blood drives, supporting our sickle cell education initiatives, hosting the High School Leadership Challenge, and lending their brand to highlight one of our blood donation buses in the community.

    Great Lakes Loons

    The Great Lakes Loons are a Single-A Minor League Baseball affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, located in Midland, MI. The Loons have partnered with Versiti for more than 10 years and established a donor center at Dow Diamond Stadium, helping to promote blood collections year-round.

     
     

    Schaumberg Boomers

    The Schaumburg Boomers are an official Versiti blood health partner. We’re grateful for the rewards and recognition they provide donors at games, their encouragement of blood donation, and their onsite blood drives.

    Milwaukee Admirals

    The American Hockey League’s Milwaukee Admirals are a feeder team for the Nashville Predators and a tenured Versiti partner. They offer blood donor recognition at games and, in the past, have sponsored free tickets for blood donors.

     
     

    Indiana Sports Corp.

    Versiti has been proud to partner with the Indiana Sports Corp. since 2019 to create opportunities for area businesses to support the community through its Corporate Challenge summer blood donation event.
